Appreciate Who You Are and Watch Your Health Improve
Are you already at your ideal weight, and shape? Are you satisfied with your current health, and quality of life? If you are, well done. You have achieved what many of us have not. The truth is most of us are in constant process to improve some area of our physical well-being.
We have an image in our minds of what we will look like, what we will be able to do, and how we will feel when we achieve our ideal health. While this is important in reaching our goals, the problem is we often forget just how amazing our body really is right now. We get caught up in spending all our time thinking about what we want to be, and dismiss what we already are.
Quantum physics proves that when we show appreciation for anyone or anything, magic happens. Your body, and mind are connected. Because of this connection changes actually occur at the cellular level in your body when you convey an attitude of appreciation.
When you put this principle of quantum physics to practice you can accelerate your results in becoming a vibrant, healthy person. The more you acknowledge just how magnificent your body is right now, the more your body will physically change to become even healthier.
Additionally, having gratitude for what you already have will encourage you to make healthy choices more regularly.?
Begin a habit of being grateful for your magnificent body with two simple steps.
Step 1
At least once a week, list at least three things you appreciate about your body right now. For instance:?
1.? I appreciate that I have a strong heart.
2.? I feel so fortunate to have my eyesight, and good hearing.
3.? I am so grateful that I have two strong legs.?????
Step 2
Select one item from your list, and describe in detail why you are grateful, and how that makes you feel. The more vivid your description, the better. For example:
I am so grateful that I have two working legs. I can walk, cycle, dance, and just generally be mobile. Being this mobile affords me great freedoms in life. I can independently go where I want anytime without having to rely on anyone. I have the option to strengthen my legs to increase my mobility, agility, stability, and balance so that I can even begin to participate in activities that demand a little more. How fortunate I am to have that option. I am very grateful for this because I know there are many people in the world who have lost the use of their legs or don?t even have legs. I feel truly grateful for my ability to simply walk. Wow, what a gift.
Ready to really blow your mind? Expand your focus, and do this process around relationships. That?s right. Perform Step 1, and Step 2 regarding your most important relationship. Write down at least three things you love about that relationship. Next, get into real detail about one of the items you listed. Share this information with the person you wrote about, and watch how they react to you. You?re going to be glad you did!
Thanks to all of you who came by Sheila?s booth to visit me at the Snowbird RV Show in Abbotsford in September. And congratulations to Bruce Schweers who won a copy of my book The Healthy Habit Former.
