Dear RVT Readers,
I am so impressed by the number of you who have contacted me about the Isagenix products I am taking now, and even more impressed by all of you who have adopted it as now part of YOUR lives too. Well Done! Health is on its way to your door!
At a Toastmaster’s meeting I was at in January, I told folks I was born in 1947 and someone said, “What? You LOOK 47 Sheila!” Not bad for a 63 yr. old, eh?
Congratulations to Mrs. Irma Oliver of Abbotsford who won the painter doll from the Earlybird RV Show. He’s a cutie for sure!
Some of the wonderful comments that came my way at that Earlybird RV Show included:
“I came all the way from Burnaby to this Show Sheila, just to see you.
You make the whole Show.”
“I like these books. They’re brilliant.”
“I wouldn’t be without The RV Times.”
“I keep telling all my girlfriends about Atilla whose ad I found in your magazine for the Euro Driving School. You never know when or if you might some day have to drive your unit home by yourself! Atilla taught me and now I no longer have any fears about handling our big rig.”
One manufacturer’s rep to another, “You should read this publication as it represents the industry the best. . . oh heck, it’s actually a cult magazine so you just HAVE to read it!”
I was flattered by that comment as in this case I tend of replace the word cult with family. Because YOU write it and I put it together, we are just like a family in MY mind. That is also why I keep mentioning Isagenix to you as I want you to stay alive longer and healthier than me even – and I firmly believe this is the product to help us all do that!
Three upcoming Shows where I will have an RV Times booth include:
March 17-20:
Chilliwack Heritage Buildings.
The give-away doll at that one is a gardening doll with a basket of flowers, a watering can, mushrooms, a worm, butterfly, package of seeds and some twine. Another winner.
Years ago in the early 2000’s, when I first started knitting these Jean Greenhowe dolls, my Mom asked me to modify this gardening doll to make it large enough so she could put it on her fireplace hearth and see it from the couch she sits on across the room. That was the first (and
last) time I have ever modified a knitting pattern and what a mathematical job that was! It didn’t end up as perfect as this doll, but my Mom was happy with it and it stands on the fireplace hearth still!
April 1-3:
Outdoor Adventure Show in the Pearkes Arena in Victoria.
This time the doll is a pirate! He’s smaller than the ones I do for the RV Shows but then the event is smaller too.
May 7:
Sooke Rotary Auction & Spring Fair
in the Sooke SeaParc Arena
I don’t have a doll produced for this one yet but it is in the makings.
My Mom turns 94 on March 12th and I’m surprising her with a doll too!
I hope you stop by my booth at one of the above Shows at least. Stop to chat and enter the draw for the knitted doll, and/or chat about RVing & The RV Times, or ask about Isagenix health and wellness products. All are a vital part of my life these days, though I am going to make a change and get off the knitting coach more often to become physically active instead. I have the energy, just looking for the excercise desire to match it!
Luv ya,
Sheila
